An anonymous Bithumb user moved a large batch of XRP to an anonymous wallet, according to data from Whale Alert. At the time of the move, the asset was valued at around $80 million.
The wallet, which carries a large amount from the exchange, currently holds 85 million XRP and constantly makes large transactions to other assets on the network. The wallet had previously transferred 35 million XRP to two anonymous wallets.
The wallet ending in “ZcEXg” received 90 million XRP on February 18 before moving 120 million XRP. It redistributed these funds among smaller wallets.
The wallet can be considered to belong to an actively operating exchange, as the movement pattern of the wallet constantly takes large sums and divides them into small groups.
Some exchanges use different wallets to redistribute coins to initiate withdrawals instead of keeping funds in one wallet.
XRP is trading at $0.6473 at the time of writing, according to CoinMarketCap data.
