The Competition Authority launched an investigation into Martı, an electric scooter rental startup, in August. The investigation was concluded today, alleging abusing its dominant position in the industry and taking exclusionary action on its competitors.
The Competition Authority was investigating the allegation that the Martı initiative violated Articles 4 and 6 of the Law on the Protection of Competition. While the investigation process was continuing, a commitment file was submitted from Martı to stop the actions preventing unfair competition. The Board reviewed the file and decided to close the investigation.
