The bag bill presented to the parliament on October 1 by AKP deputies passed the parliament today. With the law, President Erdoğan will now be able to increase the Special Consumption Tax levied on military and motor vehicles by up to 3 times.
The powers given to the President by law are not limited to these; It also has the authority to create new base groups for motor vehicles, to determine base groups and different groups according to the engine power of the vehicles. Erdogan’s authority to reset the said taxes also continues.
