At the online Vision Neue Klasse event held today, BMW stated that it is at a turning point for its automobile catalog and showed how its fully electric new generation cars will look under the umbrella of the Neue Klasse concept. While some liked the designs, of course, there were also those who clung to the old models.
The Neue Klasse concept will include all new generation vehicles.
When we look at the new generation sedan, which will be in the segment of the 3 series, we see that the kidney grilles have expanded. On the hood, there is a design that BMW calls a shark nose. In addition, when we look at the front, it is possible to see a diffuser that adds sportiness to the vehicle. Apart from that, 21-inch wheels stand out. Finally, it is possible to see the design lines showing that the vehicle is a BMW.
The interior is likewise simple. There are no mechanical buttons inside the vehicle where everything is digitized. The screen stretching across the windshield hosts the new generation of the iDrive interface, “Panoramic Vision”. We perform our actions on this screen from the touch areas on the steering wheel.
In new generation vehicles, BMW will reach a range advantage of up to 30 percent compared to vehicles in its class by using 20 percent more efficient batteries. Although nothing is stated about the range of the vehicle, it is expected to have a range of 1,000 km.
