V Pappas, the COO of TikTok, explained the company’s route to employees in an internal memo. However, he announced that they would focus on their entrepreneurial efforts. He also highlighted that Blockchain is one of the “incredible innovations” that could change the future.
Considering the successes at TikTok, Pappas stated that it is the right time to move forward and focus on his own entrepreneurial passions. In his farewell letter, he highlighted the incredible innovations in many technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, renewable energy, genomics, Blockchain and IoT, and stated that the future will be full of significant changes in these fields.
Although TikTok is generally known for its viral dances and short content, it has started to take an interest in Web3 projects in the last few years.
