The world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, announced today that it has launched the Binance Refugee Crypto Card for all existing and new Binance users who had to relocate from Ukraine to the European Economic Area (EEA) countries due to the war.

Binance works with various non-profit organizations such as Rotary and Palianytsia and is committed to helping Ukrainian refugees in the European Economic Area announced that it provides a way for people to send, buy, and sell money.

In addition to accessing crypto transactions, users of the card verified by non-profit organizations will receive financial support from Binance in the form of Binance USD (BUSD). These users will receive 75 BUSD, the recommended donation amount by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), for three months.

Binance General Manager of Ukraine Kirill Khomyakov said:

“About four million people have left Ukraine to date. It is our responsibility to help people who have suffered from war and have to leave their homes. The Binance Refugee Card will allow Ukrainians to get help from Binance and other charities and receive cryptocurrency from other wallets if needed.”
