Asus’ gaming division ROG announced the launch event where the brand will introduce the 2024 series.When will Asus ROG Phone 8 be introduced?
According to the new post made on the ROG Global account, the 2024 ROG series will be introduced at an event to be held on January 8. On this date, it is expected that the new gaming laptop model ROG Zephyris G14 and even other hardware will be introduced along with Asus ROG Phone 8.
Before the launch, the ROG Phone 8 series had appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro will come with Qualcomm’s latest processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, Asus is said to be using an overclocked version of the processor (main core running at a higher clock speed) in the Pro/Ultimate model. There will be 16GB RAM in the plain model and 24GB RAM in the Pro/Ultimate model.
More details about the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series will emerge in the coming days. Meanwhile, since Lenovo no longer produces Legion-branded gaming phones, the rival of the ROG Phone 8 will probably be the Red Magic 9 series.
