Key analysts and leakers have pointed to 2024 for the microLED Apple Watch Ultra, but supply chain analyst Ross Young claims that this model won’t arrive until 2025.Young shared a report from Osram, the company where Apple will supply the microLED display. The report shows that the company will start reporting revenues from micro LED technology in 2025. This means that orders for mass production of microLED displays will not be placed until 2025.
In previous reports, it was stated that the Apple Watch Ultra will have a 2.1 micro-LED display. The year 2024 was marked for this model. However, according to Ross Young, who makes accurate predictions especially when it comes to the screen, we will not see the Watch Ultra with a larger screen next year.
