Recently, Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) analyst Ross Young reported that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have a much larger cover screen than its predecessor. If we remember, Galaxy Z Flip 5 appeared with a 6.7-inch cover screen on the front and a 3.4-inch cover screen on the back. It is stated that the dimensions of Flip 6 will increase to 3.9 inches, which will be larger than all clamshell phones.
Another upgrade will be in the camera department. The smartphone is said to have a 50MP main sensor compared to the 12MP camera found on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Details of this and auxiliary sensors have not been shared yet. However, there are predictions that it may be the 50MP camera used in the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus.
Additionally, both foldable phones are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. In terms of software, One UI 6 based on Android 14 and higher battery and charging capacity are also expected.
