One of the popular hacker groups that supported Ukraine in the Ukraine-Russia war, Anonymous, offered over $50,000 in Bitcoin for each tank delivered by Russian soldiers.
Famous hacker group Anonymous reportedly offered to pay Russian troops in Bitcoin to deliver their tanks. The group stated that it will pay more than $52,000 in Bitcoin for each combat vehicle delivered.
Anonymous: BTC for a Tank
The Ukrainian side is trying to stop the Russian invasion not only with weapons and direct clashes, but also with digital attack. A few days ago, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced that the government will create an IT army. The politician made the following statements:
“We need digital talent. There will be tasks for everyone. We continue to fight on the cyber front.”
The famous hacker group Anonymous also carried out a cyber attack against Russia. Within two days, the organization had raised 1 billion rubles (about $10 million) in violation of more than 300 Russian targets.
Anonymous offered to give $52,000 BTC for each tank to be delivered to reduce the strength of the Russian forces. Those who want to deliver their vehicles are required to wave the white flag and use the ‘million’ password to be recognized.
Anonymous, who declared war on Vladimir Putin at the end of February, warned that if the Russian leader did not stop his invasion of Ukraine, he would face unprecedented cyber attacks from all corners of the world.
