Samsung continues to provide the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update to its phones. Finally, the stable version of the software has been released for global Galaxy S21 users.Android 14 ready for Samsung Galaxy S21
The One UI 6.0 update based on Android 14 came with the G99xBXXU9FWK2 firmware version for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra models. The 2.28 GB update was first rolled out in Switzerland in Europe. The update will be available in other regions over time.
To manually check whether the update is available, you can follow the Settings » Software Update » Download and install instructions on the phone.
What does One UI 6 offer?
Samsung One UI 6.0 brings AI features for Gallery (Photo Rearrangement, Object Eraser and more) along with a redesigned Quick Panel. It also includes some changes to multitasking capabilities, in addition to new camera widgets and Samsung Studio. For example, when you go to Recent apps while using a pop-up window, you will now be able to continue using it instead of the window being minimized. Other innovations are as follows:
