Apple, which introduced exciting products at the WWDC event in June, also introduced its $ 3499 virtual reality glasses at this event. Vision Pro, which managed to stand out from its competitors with the features we saw at least on paper and in a few videos, would go on sale in January 2024, according to Mark Gurman.

However, speaking to Bloomgerg’s Power On newsletter, famous Apple analyst Gurman said that the sales date of Vision Pro could be postponed to March. Virtual reality glasses, which everyone has been wondering about when they will go on sale for a long time, show that we have to wait a little longer, according to Gurman.

The reason why the sale of Vision Pro was postponed is that the testing phases are not over yet.

Gurman says that Apple is showing January 2024 for the launch of Vision Pro, and it will be available first in the USA. However, the company is still making distribution plans and the final testing stages of the device appear to be not finished yet.

Vision Pro, which will first be available in the USA and in other countries towards the end of 2024, will only be available from official Apple stores and the website. Users need to make an appointment before purchasing.

Apple will not offer Vision Pro for sale in any retail stores because it wants to take the user experience to a different level. Because it seems quite difficult for retailers to keep prescription lenses and headbands of different sizes in stock.

Gurman also states that Apple’s software teams are pointing to January. Currently, the beta version of iOS 17.2 will bring the ability to shoot spatial videos to the iPhone 15 Pro series. This shows that the beta version and Vision Pro will be available on the same dates, depending on Vision Pro’s ability to watch spatial videos.
