A new report shared by Counterpoint, which conducts market research in technology-related fields, revealed the best-selling smartphone brands in European countries as of the third quarter of 2023.
According to shared data, smartphone sales decreased by 11 percent compared to the previous third quarter. The leading brand in the market is Samsung with 32 percent market share. The South Korea-based technology giant experienced a 15 percent decrease in terms of sales compared to the third quarter of last year. Its market share is also 2 percent less. But he still managed to maintain the lead.
The second best-selling smartphone manufacturer was Apple. While the market share of the brand, which attracted attention by introducing the new iPhone 15 series a few months ago, was 24 percent, it made 3 percent less sales compared to the previous quarter. Despite this, the company increased its market share by 2 percent.
When we look at the data, we see that the brand whose sales decreased the most is Realme. The company’s sales decreased by 30 percent compared to the third quarter of last year. However, its market share decreased by 1 percent to 4 percent.
While the sales of almost all brands in Europe are decreasing, Honor, on the contrary, draws attention with its increasing sales. Accordingly, while the company’s market share remained constant at 4 percent, sales increased by 8 percent.
